Luxury Craftsmanship That Adds Value to Your Home
We use premium hardwoods and furniture-grade materials to create custom built-ins that enhance your home’s value, maximize space, and elevate everyday living. Unlike mass-produced cabinetry, our built-ins are constructed with high-quality plywood and solid hardwood face frames, never particle board or MDF for structural shelving or cabinetry.
For painted built-ins, we use maple paint-grade plywood for the shelving, solid poplar for the face frames, and a ¼-inch MDF backer to achieve a beautifully smooth, refined finish. Each piece is professionally spray-painted for the seamless, furniture-quality appearance that defines truly custom cabinetry.
For stained built-ins, we offer a curated selection of premium wood species, including white oak, walnut, oak, ash, and cherry. Solid hardwood is used for the face frames, with coordinating wood-veneer plywood for the shelving and backing, allowing the natural grain and character of the wood to become an integral part of the design.
From initial design concept through final installation, every built-in is individually tailored to complement your home’s architecture and your personal aesthetic, with careful attention to proportion, detail, durability, and finish.
From historic homes in Washington, DC, to new construction throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland, our work reflects exceptional craftsmanship, enduring quality, and timeless design.

Our Customers Say
“Luke custom-built us a bookcase and a bench using cherry wood. Before starting, he talked us through different design options and he had great ideas about functionality. Throughout the process he made sure to stay in constant contact with updates, and when he installed the pieces he was very detail oriented and was even able to match our trim seamlessly. It was a really big job and we are so happy with how it all came out! Luke really knows his craft and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend him!”
“Luke is a professional and master of his trade. He was patient throughout the process and made recommendations based on what our ideas were. We had him build a mud room and several sets of shelves for pantry and closets.”
“We live in a 2 bedroom condo that really lacked storage and have been going back and forth about building more cabinets/drawers instead of buying bulky furniture. We reached out to Luke about building a media center that incorporated closed storage options and he really blew our minds. After sending him a couple of inspiration photos, he came up with a rendering, talked us through the different wood options, and really listened to what we wanted. He was kind and responsive throughout the process, and communicated with us while we were out of the country. In the end, the media center came out EXACTLY like his rendering. We are beyond pleased and would recommend him to anyone that may have an idea brewing in their minds.”
“In nine years of working with different contractors and artisans in the DMV area, Luke was the most qualified and professional by a mile. I was absolutely blown away by his accuracy to detail and lack of direction that was required. We showed him a single image on Pinterest and he basically recreated the exact same design with a few minor tweaks. What convinced me immediately that he knew his stuff was when he could look at a Pinterest photo and tell us the widths of the moulding used in the picture . . . and he was right.
He created a detailed mockup, crafted this built in and then brought the entire prepainted unit and installed it all within 48 hours. It fit perfectly.
As an industrial engineer myself, I know good work product when I see it and it was incredible. Plus it was fairly priced and from a genuine small business owner which is even rarer in this area of the country.
We wish him the best. If you are on the fence with respect to who to choose, I can already promise you Luke is the right dude to go with. You won’t find someone who cares more.”
“Luke designed and built our beautiful walk-in closet. We couldn’t be happier with the results and the entire process. He collaborated with us to determine the best design to fit the space and our needs. Then he built a closet with the finest craftsmanship we’ve seen. We look forward to working with him again.”
“The shelving is so beautiful. We all keep stopping in there just to look at it. It really surpassed our expectations, both in terms of beauty and functionality. We are so thankful to you! You have an amazing skill.”
“Excellent craftsmanship! Highly recommend.”
“Luke did excellent work creating an office space for us. We gave him inspiration, and he was able to make a couple revisions until it was perfect. He was easy to work with, and has beautiful craftsmanship. Would use him for other projects. Highly recommend!”
